Help our community to Nourish & Flourish 🌱

Escape Arts is looking for a friendly, organised and compassionate Project Coordinator to lead our weekly Nourish & Flourish community gardening and wellbeing group at Lifeways Garden in Stratford-upon-Avon. The group brings adults together to connect with nature, learn gardening skills, enjoy creative activities and share good food. It's a welcoming and supportive group where people can build confidence, learn new skills and enjoy being part of a community. The role is the main staff contact for the group and involves coordinating weekly sessions, supporting participants, working alongside volunteers and visiting practitioners, and ensuring that sessions are safe, inclusive and enjoyable. You don't need to be an expert gardener: our experienced volunteer gardeners provide the specialist gardening knowledge and support. An interest in nature or gardening is desirable, but training will be provided.

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has experience supporting or delivering workshops, activities or community projects in an arts, education, community or health setting.,
  • Is passionate about community, creativity and wellbeing.
  • Is friendly, approachable and able to communicate with people with empathy and respect.
  • Is organised and confident keeping records.
  • Has a flexible, practical and can-do attitude.
  • Is confident leading a simple creative activity when required.

Experience of working with people experiencing mental health challenges or with diverse community groups would be advantageous, but is not essential.
